Move Forward by Backing Up

A term often used in the software industry, I’ve found it to be gospel on more than one occasion. Case in point: while editing my manuscript, I found a section from one of the chapters had been inadvertently deleted.


Thankfully, I’m diligent about not only keeping multiple backups, but keeping them on an external hard drive. I was able to copy the missing section from a previous backup and paste it into my manuscript and continue moving forward by backing up.
